Joel Yale (Davis)

Joel Ann (Davis) Yale, 81, of Independence, MO passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2022. She was reunited after two years apart with her best friend and husband of sixty years Jerry. Joel loved being surrounded by her family and friends and was a wonderful mother to her three daughters. Her and Jerry loved going to the boat and playing the penny slots, even traveling to Vegas to play a few times on fun filled vacations. Later in life she really enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels on her deck and watching them play. She will be so very missed by those she’s left behind but there’s no doubt she was greeted with loving open arms by her husband.
Joel is survived by her three daughters; Jerri Lynn Garrison, Joanna Yale, and Jennifer Lewis, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, five nieces, and four nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her mother Blanche Davis and sister Marie McClenahan. Cremation is planned and a private family service will be held.
