Janice Yankee

Janice Yankee, 53, of Kansas City, MO passed away February 15, 2008 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the chapel with burial to follow at Underwood Cemetery. Janice is survived by her husband, Samuel D. Yankee; two sons, Sam J. Yankee and Eric Millsap (fiancé, Jamie); stepsons, David and Tom Yankee; mother, Edith Chivers; three sisters, Kathy Chivers, Lanie Rutz (husband, Todd), and Alanna Chivers; two brothers, Jeff and Greg Chivers; and one grandson, Tyler Millsap. The family suggests contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House.
