Inza M. Yates

Inza M. Yates, 82, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, August 17, 2003 at her home. Cremation, with private service at Mountain Grove, MO. Memorial Contributions are suggested to MSD Alumni Association, 504 Alfalfa Lane, Buckner, MO 64016. Inza was born February 25, 1921 in Blanche, MO to William and Lizzie Parsons. She was a graduate of the Missouri School for the Deaf, and a member of the Jackson County Chapter of Missouri Association for the Deaf, Sedalia State Fair Chapter of MOAD, MO-KAN Telecommunications for the Deaf, Inc., MSD Alumni, and the Heart of America Association of the Deaf. She was a member of Grace Heartland Community Church. Inza is survived by her children, Elizabeth A. Gregory of Independence, MO, Samuel L. Yates of Landover Hills, MD, Lawrence W. Yates of Buckner, MO, Carol A. Yates of Paola, KS, James Q. Yates, and Timothy F. Yates both of Independence, MO; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Ida Smith of Independence, MO, and Louise Finley of Riverside, CA.
