Susan Lee Young, 67, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Research Medical Center.
Private inurnment will be at a later date at Humphries Cemetery, north of Horseshoe Bend, AR.
Susan was born December 26, 1942 in Hereford, TX the daughter of Owen and Almeda (Wolfington) Hall. She was employed in the ‘90’s with the Independence School District in the 21st Century Program. Susan enjoyed antique shopping; cooking and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight; and sister Judy Young.
Survivors include her children, Scott Young of Lone Jack; Stephanie Young-Wyatt of Blue Springs; and Shawn Young of Independence; five grandchildren; sisters, Mary Price; Belle Bates; Jean Mabry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
