William Ziegler

William “Ziegie” Ziegler, 77, of Kansas City, MO passed away May 11, 2010 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Ziegie was cremated at the Carson-Speaks Crematory and a private inurnment will take place at his family cemetery in Fayette, MO. Ziegie was born December 6, 1932 in Boonville, MO to Dr. L.E. and Mrs. Ruth (Besgrove) Ziegler. He graduated from Fayette High School, class of 1950, and was a graduate from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, May, 1954. For over 30 years, Ziegie was an art teacher in the Kansas City School District. He is survived by his sister, Joan Anderson of Downers Grove, IL; long-time friend, Mary Ellen Carnes, Independence, MO; and his loving dog, Dolly.
